Day 52

Today I am going for a spotty theme. I am wearing this 1970's drop waisted dress with colourful spots and my usual white spotty shirt. Below that is a picture of some china dolls that were my mum's which I have in an ornament holder. My dad did this as he was the photographer today and likes to take pictures of anything.
See you tomorrow!

Day 51

Today I am wearing this gold sparkly dress from Urban Outfitters, I got it in a sale for £10 about 4 years ago.
See you tomorrow!

Day 50

Today I was wearing this navy floral dress from Camberwell market in Melbourne. Originally it was floor length so it was altered to  a better looking length. Underneath I am wearing a black heat-tech top from Uni Qlo.
See you tomorrow!

Day 49

Today I was wearing this old denim jacket with a faux sheep's fleece lining. I got this jacket when I was about 10 and re-discovered it a couple of years ago, so as it still fits why not make good use of it!
See you tomorrow!

Day 48

Finally I have caught up with my blogging, it has taken a while and I now regret not having more motivation to post everyday! But it has been a busy week, what with being away and then having to catch up on missed Uni work..
So, as it is attempting to snow again I am wearing this long pink mohair 1960's coat from Camberwell Market in Melbourne with a cute beaver fur hat which came from Portobello Market and was only £5, which is a bargain! These are the new nubuck brogues that I am also wearing.
See you tomorrow!

One of my cats - Aksel, who like to pose for his photo!

Day 47

Yesterday I was wearing this navy floral skirt from a Charity shop with this woollen Norwegian cardigan from a Charity shop in York, notice the typical Norwegian clasps used instead of buttons. The chunky heeled shoes with studs on were from Office.

Day 46

Thursday - I was keeping it simple with a tartan mohair jacket from a Charity shop in Melbourne along with my Grandpa's silk scarf!

Day 45

Here I am wearing an orange woollen skirt from Traid in Hammersmith with a green woollen cardigan that has flower detailing around the cuffs, collar and bottom. I am also wearing a pair of black nubuck brogues from Valentina's, a shoe shop in Italy, although you cannot see them very well so I will post a better picture at some point.

Detailing around the collar

Day 44

On Tuesday I was wearing one of my favourite jumpers from Beyond Retro near Carnaby Street. I paired it with a classic plain black skirt and a pair of new black Chelsea boots from a shoe shop called Bata in Florence

Day 43

Here is a picture for Monday, taken at the Basilica d Santa Croce in Florence. I was wearing the same outfit as I miss-counted the days and forgot to bring a spare outfit! Typical!

Day 42

On Sunday I was wearing this 1950's dress from Camberwell market in Melbourne, it was very long and big when I got it so I had to alter it (with the help of my aunty) This was taken on the top of the Bell tower in Florence, Italy.

Day 41

Saturday 16th- I was wearing a 1940's style floral dress from H&M with my black boots and Astrocan and mink coat. This picture was taken from the Piazza del Michaelangelio.

Day 40

Today I am off to Florence, Italy for the weekend. I am wearing a navy flowery shirt from Camberwell market, Australia with this purple skirt from Absolute Vintage along with my tan roll top boots from Portobello Market.
See you Tomorrow, or possibly Monday when I get back!

Day 39

Today I am wearing my big Eskimo coat, that my mum found in a skip about 10 years ago, it has fur around the hood and appliquéd pictures of igloos, polar bear and Eskimo.
See you tomorrow!

Day 38

In this picture I am wearing a dress, from Primark - not vintage I know, but not everything can be vintage all the time! The boots are from Florence, Italy and are suede Chelsea boots with punching across the front.

Day 37

I've been a little bit slack this week with updating my outfits, but I am going to put them all up now. On Tuesday I was wearing a grey long-sleeved top from Uni Qlo with this orangey patterned skirt from a charity shop, which was a little bit big so I altered it by sewing down the one and only seam, easy! The shoes are from Office and have studs across the top and a good chunky heel and match well with the other colours. The belt was from a charity shop in Australia and was only $1, bargain!

Monday, 11 February 2013

Day 36

Today I am wearing my American Apparel skirt with this shirt from  Portobello Market along with my snakeskin boots which were from Brick Lane.
See you tomorrow!

Day 35

This outfit I wore yesterday, it is the same one that I wore on Thursday but didn't manage to get a picture. The brown and yellow stripy top was from a vintage sale in Hackney, the skirt, as usual was from Uni Qlo and teemed with my mum's Mulberry belt.

Day 34

Since I was very hungover and drunk for the past two days I haven't been able to update my blog, so here it is.. This is what I wore on Saturday for carnival as it was quite a bright outfit. The jumper I wore in my first post and was from Camberwell Market in Melbourne, the dress was from Brick Lane. (Excuse the Gin on the side, this was purely a hair of the dog mechanism to kill the hangover!)

Day 33

Today I am wearing a grey woollen jumper that was my dad's, with an Austrian print vintage re-vamap skirt from Urban Outfitters. The mink hat with the bow detail also made another appearance along with the mohair coat and black boots. This picture was taken outside the Kölner Dom.
See you tomorrow!

Thursday, 7 February 2013

Day 32

Today is the first day of my weekend in Cologne. I was wearing my mohair coat and black boots as it's really cold here. Underneath I am wearing, as usual, my black skirt and a brown and yellow stripey jumper which I will have to put a picture of up later. The jumper came from a vintage market in Hackney and is interesting colours, but I decided that I could style it up nicely! See you tomorrow!

Wednesday, 6 February 2013

Day 31

Today I am wearing a tartan skirt that was my cousin's in Australia, so has been revamped nicely! The plain white shirt I have worn before and it was from a vintage sale. The cardigan came from Portobello Market and was originally from Aquascutum.
See you tomorrow!

Tuesday, 5 February 2013

Day 30

Today I was wearing a 1980's bright blue jumper from Portobello Market and as usual I was wearing a plain black skirt with it. It was a rather boring and uninteresting outfit today as I wasn't feeling particularly inspired. It's time for a strong gin and tonic I think.
See you tomorrow!

Monday, 4 February 2013

Day 29

Today I was wearing a not so vintage dress, although it was from Primark about 5 years ago, a plain black cardigan also from Primark on top along with 1950's shoes from Portobello Market, which are super comfy!
See you tomorrow!

Day 28

Today I was wearing some black trousers from H&M, along with the white spotty shirt, I then added my fair-isle woollen jumper from a vintage market in Hackney. The riding boots and Birkin look a like bag were from Florence. The necklace has an Aventurine crystal on it along with a unicorn from Turkey and an angel from Mont Marte in Paris.
See you tomorrow!

The Duck buttons

Day 27

Today I am wearing a 1950's red dress with white buttons up the front. It is sun-ray pleated and has a lace pocket and lace collar, I bought it in Portobello market. The shoes were also from Portobello and are traditional 1940's shoes with a small heel and snake skin detailing.
See you tomorrow!

Day 26

I have worn this dress before but I decided it could have another wear with these jazzy teal patterned tights which were from Urban Outfitters. The dress was from Portobello Market and the shoes from Florence. I decided that although these two items do not actually match according to many people, but I like the combo and think it works well together and makes it more individual.
See you tomorrow!
